Bible Study

A lay-led Women's Bible Study is held every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. throughout the year. Bible studies focus on the books of the old and new testaments. Occasionally, topical women's issues are discussed.

Men's Bible Study meets every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. throughout the year for donuts, coffee, juice and God's word. You are welcome whether you know the Bible inside and out or whether you only know where you can find a Bible. Some of us have a lot to say and others of us are very good at listening. Some of us come simply for the donuts.

A lay-led Bible Study is held every Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. between services throughout the year. Doctrinal and topical studies, as well as Old and New Testament studies are discussed. Occasionally, information sessions are held during this timeframe, which may involve congregational issues, topics of interest by guest speakers or video and discussion. A schedule of upcoming studies/forums are regularly posted in the atrium area and outlined in the bulletin announcements.

Men's Saturday Breakfast Club

Every Saturday morning an informal group of men from Beaver Lake opens the Little Oven on Minnehaha and White Bear Avenue at 7:00AM for breakfast and conversation. Topics will range from the Gophers' next opponent to the more serious. You don't have to be awake, the coffee will fix that! One word of warning: don't order a full stack of pancakes!

Crafters, Card Ladies & Quilters

Every Tuesday morning from January to October anyone with idle fingers is welcome to put those fingers to task creating boutique items for our annual Fall Fair. Fingers are guaranteed to have paint or glue residue by the end of the morning.

Every Tuesday morning throughout the year, the Card Ladies gather with paper, scissors, glue and other assorted items to give used greeting cards a second life. Their re-creations are available for sale at church at a nominal cost. Cards are available for a variety of occasions.

And finally, one Friday every month, people with flying needles and calluses on their fingers spread their quilts out on the large tables in the Education Hall and perform their fabric artistry.

Loaves and Fishes Too

Every other month BLLC prepares and serves a meal to the hungry at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in northeast Minneapolis.

Jolly Beavers

This group of active seniors meets regulary for fellowship and activities. Activities vary, but they always plan to have fun!
